Port Washington State Bank Wins 7th Top Workplace Award

Port Washington, WI: Port Washington State Bank is proud to announce that it has been named to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Top Workplace listing for the 7th consecutive year. "We are very honored to again receive this recognition," said Steve Schowalter, Chairman, President, and CEO of the bank. "It's rewarding to know that we are continuing to provide employment locally here in Ozaukee County at a very high level in terms of employee engagement and satisfaction," continued Schowalter.

The Journal Sentinel started the Top Workplace program 9 years ago. Candidates are nominated by their employees, and employees are surveyed by an independent third party in the areas of benefits, pay, workplace culture, leadership, direction, and community and employee engagement. In 2018, 247 companies participated, and 150 were selected to the program. The bank was honored at the Wisconsin Center on May 4th at the annual Top Workplace breakfast in Milwaukee.
